Yeah, he “redeemed” himself by dying; let’s leave it at that, okay? He abused his sister and was a bully. Enough.

Yeah, the best parts of TPP were easily the story missions where everything was more tightly focused.
Especially after such a short time!
Sounds like a good time. Maybe AV Club and their audience needs to grow a thicker foreskin. And I look forward to the immature responses I’m going to get, just like the comment section on Facebook of trolls for attacking someone with an opinion that isn’t theirs. Too bad they aren’t as brave as in person...
Are you insane? We’re all more pent up than a virgin on prom night.
I do think it would be cool if they skipped to college for the final season. They could do lots of eighties college cliches. We’d eat that shit up.
Matt Murdock is extremely motivated by sex and intimacy, which he constantly conflates. He tries to have sex with Claire until she shuts it down, his protective impulse with Karen quickly turns sexual, and the whole point of his conflict over Elektra is that he’s aroused by her transgressive Domme vibe but knows she’s…
I think I’m the only person who prefers the Hand stuff to the Punisher.
I often have to remind people who reflexively say “Daredevil S2 sucked” that the Punisher stuff is in the first half. Which goes to show how much damage the second half of S2 did to its reputation.
Agreed. I did not like Foggy on the show.
I liked Charlie Cox well enough but the series really overestimated my interest in the lives of Karen and Foggy. Foggy in particular was not nearly as charming as the show seemed to think he was.
There better be ninjas in it!
He was the best character by the end of s1.
That’s a fair compromise. I’d also include “never gives Matt shit for being Daredevil” again. Just... so many times...
He went from worst character to best character over the two seasons, which is impressive.
Just bring back Cox, D’Onofrio, and Woll, and have Foggy have died in a fire in the intervening years. That would be perfect for me. I care far less about continuity than I do about the continuation of awful jokes.
I liked Tom Pelphrey in Iron Fist as well. But I also generally think he’s good in everything he’s in.
Yeah, but that Bullseye throw-down in the newsroom is one of the spookiest fight scenes I’ve ever seen. The camera whip panning while he’s bouncing staplers off the ceiling and shit. Poor DD getting smacked upside the head repeatedly.
Great opportunity for a fresh take on a streaming series: no overall plot, just episodic procedurals.
I’m fairly certain we’ll at least be getting new takes on Electra and Bullseye, the whole evil baseball player thing doesn’t really square with the MCU villain factory.
