Indeed. On the one hand, Shogun has the advantage of real history they can draw from, that other mini series who have been in this situation do not. So here’s hoping they can stay strong, in the tradition of other shows that went past the books like The Handmaid’s Tale and The Leftovers.
Yea, I enjoyed them in my teen years. I legit think the “fun” of the MTV Awards was something that ended up having an influence on more serious awards shows, and why we gradually started to see things like pre-taped skits at the Oscars.

I really wish Days of Future Past actually conveyed a dystopian future where the X-Men were long dead, and humans and mutants alike are being thrown into camps, giving a true sense of what society would look like if they failed. But instead we just got secluded mountains.
