I mean, Lost was one of the shows that made this a cool trope, since we started seeing it as a storytelling device a whole lot more on tv afterwards (notably, Lost predates everything else on this list, save for Alias another JJ Abrams show, and BSG, another sci-fi show). The disrespect it gets is unreal, but not

You’re describing some similar headaches I had, too, and I am a little salty that the RE4 remake can be frustrating at all, which has never been the case for me at any point with a Resident Evil game ever, before now. (well ok, the airplane hangar boss fight of Code Veronica, but that’s it). I might be the only person

Shudder > Blumhouse

Not many could take Sayid in one-on-one fight!

Not done yet, but so far,

“whatever version ends up on-screen, it will not be what Bryan and I had envisioned or intended to make.

And it’s a real episode! lol

The mystery was certainly not how it was done, but why it swaps. At first I thought it was worst example of a continuity error in a movie, but apparently it was a creative choice.

I wouldn’t have revealed Wolverine’s voice, but otherwise, it looks close enough.

Jean’s got a game, so they need to get moving!

Yep, I was struck by how mature its themes remain, even to this day, for a kids show. The Genosha and The Cure arcs are friggin great, and I don’t even think a studio would have the guts to do the Friends of Humanity in a cartoon today. I think the series drops a bit once it gets into all the confusing Shi’ar stuff,

I rewatched them recently, and think it holds up better than most cartoons of that era. Better than Gargoyles for example, which gets convoluted faster than I remember. It takes X-Men at least until the Phoenix Saga in Season 3 before it starts getting messy.

Marvel should reveal all their castings like this from now on.

I’ve been less into Season 2, so far. Part of that was not enough JK Simmons, where I think the show simply isn’t all that interesting without him.

Game of Thrones: Jaime Lannister gets rid of the Peeping Tom

Brand new, and fresh out the oven, Lars Olmstead, Fargo. What was the point of him?

Your point still stands

Jack on Ted Lasso is pretty hard to defend, tho

I remember Myra being a lot of fun (and she was hot) so I’m a little surprised to see her catching shade. Sitcoms from that era had a lot of other options. I mean, Zack Morris, is right there.

Good points all. I was definitely protective of Buffy, and Riley could have been a saint, and it wouldn’t have mattered. No guy is good enough for Buffy.
