It’s clearly mixed emotions. I think they meant what they said, but they do seem a little irritated, Mila especially. Poor thing had to get up in early in the morning and explain to the internet how two things can be true. (which to be fair, always needs to be explained to the internet).  She can barely look at the

Wait, what?! Actually, now that I think about it, how bad could it be?

Un-seating her in the middle of all this also probably would have been a bad look.

I am recommending a criminal referral to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the sequel to Man of Steel. Snyder’s first movie was rocky, but salvageable. As a foundation for a new universe, they could still make it work. But whatever hope they had was squandered in BvS, which gets more wrong about its characters than

Yes!

Ah, both my first Chuck Norris movie and my first Vietnam movie. I can’t imagine either getting any better

Oh, it gets worse. You gotta at least get to Bane!

I’m only finding out today that a Showgirls 2 exists, lol. And that subtitle!

This is a movie I demand be on all ‘worst of’ lists.

I’m as casual a Star Wars viewer as it gets, and have enjoyed all of those to varying degrees... except Rise of Skywalker. I think a legitimate case could be made for it. I don’t even care about this IP and I felt bad that’s what fans were given as a finale. Episode 9 is a disappointment that transcends demographics.

Strange times when Brett Ratner makes a better movie than Ridley Scott. But Red Dragon felt like such a better followup to ‘Lambs than Hannibal did- even if it just followed the same template.

He truly is the worst of the Jimmys

Does That 70s Show become like The Cosby Show now?

The AMPTP just offered the highest wage increase for the WGA in 35 years, which was rejected, so if we want to talk about negotiating “in bad faith”, things like this should be noted. As much as media outlets like this want to carry water for the unions, the strikes are making EVERYBODY look bad.

I thought it was fine too (at least until the finale) but I mean, I’d want a series about this particular adaptation to be a little better than just ‘fine’, yea? The wasted potential can’t be downplayed, because that is the whole thing of it. This should have been a much bigger, much more exciting event than it was.

Heh, and of course Munich’s most famous follow-up: The BFG.

Trendy.

It’s quite a thing to ask of a company. And yet, I do ask it, too. Because entertainment is different from other businesses. It’s purely a creative request, and there is something to be said for knowing when to stop, slow down, or simply take a break, when it comes to having told the type of story the MCU did. Disney
