A fan’s opinion only matters if they wrote the story themselves is a really weird take.

The bloater and that swarm was also the last appearance of any infected in the story proper. After episode 5, there aren’t anymore for the rest of the season. That’s kind of crazy to think about. The one Clicker in ep 7 and the one Runner in ep 9 are both only flashbacks.
Actaully, they made a big point about how they weren’t nameless soldiers anymore. Now you were killing Johnny! or Nick!
I thought so. It looked real, and it’s the standard the show set for itself. Really proud of them and thank you.
I didn’t mind the Little Mermaid Trailer. I’d like more trailer premieres at The Oscars. Seems a more fitting place for them than the Super Bowl, tbh. And it might help boost ratings.
I’ve seen all 4, and you are correct
3.5 hours and I only groaned like 3 times, so that’s pretty good.
Yea, as long as the Oscars are on ABC, this will be their synergy.
I feel the opposite about the 10 Best Picture nominees, and when almost half of them get shut out, it raises the question of why they bother bloating the category with so many (Triangle of Sadness, for example, is an afterthought if there ever was one. )
It’s because they brought the Shorts categories back. Would have been riots in the streets.
The Menu was robbed! Robbed I tells ya!
I agree concede with most, but I’ll key in on a few:
I’d love it, but the Academy doesn’t really breakdown awards by specific genre like that. Animation, as we are often told, is not a genre. It’s a medium. And, as with foreign films and documentaries, the subjects can range from comedic, to thrilling, to dramatic all nominated together.
I want RRR to win for Best Song (just to win something) but I don’t even think it’s the best song in that movie, and I like Gaga’s tune from Top Gun better anyway
I don’t even think Pinocchio is the 3rd best movie in that category. I liked Marcel the Shell, Turning Red, and Puss in Boots all alot more.
Definitely, Maybe
I’m surprised that Tar was supposed to be funny. I watched it all wrong, I guess.
well said
The deviations were a little different for me. When it came to alterations to pre-established things, I not once did I think they were ever better than what the game already did. But when it came to a wholesale new thing, I usually found myself more excited by those kinds of changes.
The aftermath of David should be its own cooldown episode. Considering everything else the ending is going to do, squeezing both these things together concerns me bit.
