Yea, it’s a soul-sucking life, working for Saul Goodman, haha. She can be as grumpy as she wants, but she’s a great person to call when you need a favor
Yea, I watched the bottle scene again and it looks like the seals are there, so thankfully that clears that up. Though it occurs to me that the cancer thing might have come up if he was screening these marks with such detail
August Fools?
I’d assume they’d just move to the next guy if they hit any snags, but Buddy and Gene’s fight disproves this because the mere suggestion of doing so was out of the question.
A deadline of 11:59 on August 10 has been given by signatories for companies to respond
I find Francesca unpleasant, but her loyalty is impressive. Anyway, I’m overthinking this probably, but I have a few questions about this week’s scheme, which seems to only work if a lot of convenient things happen:
They told Kim she was about to be a Made Man and everything...
Lol, the first two were coincidences because I didn’t really know who he was yet! The rest weren’t by choice. Bloodrayne was a party movie I was out-voted on, and Postal and Dungeon Siege were when I worked at as projectionist at a movie theater, and had to watch any prints we built.
YES! I kid you not, I was thinking exactly this about half-way through the scene. ‘Master’ is great, but “For Whom the Bell Tolls” fit the situation more.
Or Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic. For people of a certain age, we’re used to it. But it has been a while, and certainly rarer in the internet/streaming era.
Videogame movies I’ve seen that Vikander’s Tomb Raider is better than:
Scarlet J is more obvious than Hayley Atwell?
I can see it!
My heart was with Forspoken, and that delay effectively ended my year, lol. However it’s cool to see A Plague Tale go from an under-the-radar first game I couldn’t talk to anyone about, to this hotly anticipated sequel.
Think of Saint’s Row like the Thor movies. It doesn’t really find its identity until the 3rd one decides to have fun. The 4th one goes even crazier, maybe a little too much (?) and makes people feel like we gotta get back to basics.
In the interest of sticking with practical effects, he’ll be detonating a real bomb
I think he leaned into it so hard with Tenet to mixed results, that he might scale back this time. Honestly, I think another defining trait he has is needing his films to have a twist, which I’m surprised people don’t talk about more.
I liked the episode, but I know what you mean. The scams are always fun to watch unfold, because BCS has such impeccable attention to detail. But sometimes that means more drawn out storytelling, compared to BB’s escalation style. This grift was the kind of small-scale thing we might have gotten in early seasons. I…
New Jeff was very confusing for me, but I liked him. I rarely laugh at prat falls, but him slipping and knocking himself out will probably be the funniest damn thing I see all season. Merch all over the floor and him not moving...lol. The comedy and the suspense of it was gold. Outside of that, the episode was just ok…
