Ick!! I use Quicken too, but I'm too scared to even know what I pay for sales tax, so I enter it in generally (ie Groceries, Computer Accessories/Hardware/Software), and if it's bigger purchases, I'll split into categories. I do this pretty much as soon as I make purchases though.
