Lucas doesn’t care what we think. To him it’s just dollar signs. He wrote the scripts for the prequels in record time, which is part of the reason why they suck so bad. It’s like a college kid cramming for a final the night before. He knew they’d make millions (billions) so he didn’t need to care.

It’s a sweet little bike for what it is. 12 hp of awesome. About 270 lbs. It’s biggest drawback is lack of tire choices, but if you aren’t doing any major off-road, the stock tires are fine. It’s amazing how well it gets around off-road. Will go 65 mph too. And they’re plentiful in the used market.

They’re cute. But I have a Yamaha TW200 and I can’t imagine riding a bike any slower than that... and the Grom will be. So um, yeah, no.

For the record, I only roll coal on people who cut me off or are otherwise assholes in traffic.

A perfect example of cops abusing their authority.

Motorcycles have too much of a stigma about them for the average person. Like the typical conversation when you tell somebody you ride... the inevitable, “I knew somebody who rode a bike who...” (insert story about terrible accident or something).

The fact that it didn’t disintegrate on impact is impressive.

If I found somebody putting one of these on my car, I would place their dismembered remains in the trunk of their Prius and push it into the Columbia River.

So... is it safe to assume that the steering wheel in these is off-center just like it is in the new Suburban? And why aren’t more automotive publications ranting about it? It’s moronic and shows GM’s complete lack of attention to detail.

This happened because of politicians that are bought and paid for by various corporate interests. Plain and simple. Until we clean house of this sort of thing, it will keep happening.

The EPA is a draconian agency that shouldn’t exist. It is controlled by Leftist eco-marxists whose purpose is to destroy industry, not save the planet. And the people who believe the EPA is actually doing good are just useful idiots.

I don’t like any of ‘em because they’re FWD and made by BMW... a maker with a poor record for reliability.

How about we disband the EPA and be rid of a draconian agency that isn’t responsible to anybody but itself? The EPA is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

I say the EPA needs to be disbanded (along with the IRS and a few other agencies). They don’t answer to the voters and therefore shouldn’t exist. They impose unrealistic rules on automakers, and I actually commend VW for creativity in doing this. The EPA is full of crap and VW found a good way around their BS.
