My truck isn’t small or all that old (but it is ten years old) and I love it. It’s a dually. It’s a diesel. It’s a stick. I’ve hauled 6000 lbs of gravel in the bed before without issue. And two days ago I made $40 towing a huge 5th wheel across town for a friend. Oh and on the highway it gets 20-22 mpg.

It’s a luxury sedan with a cargo bed. Which I’m surprised they haven’t lined with wood (a la the Mercedes 6x6 monster).

If I had that kind of cash, that might be a nice deal, especially since I could beef the tranny up enough to handle more mods. Ah maybe one day. For now I’ll stick with bikes.. they’re far cheaper. :)

I despise blinged out cruisers... they’re vastly over-priced and pretty well pointless. They’re heavy, get lousy mileage, and don’t turn very well, and when they’re ridden enthusiastically, it’s too easy to scrape hard parts. AND they don’t really go off-road. Besides, who wants to get a blingy cruiser dirty?

Whatever they choose, I would really like some sort of federal regulation requiring all limos to have legible contact information for the parent company, aka, those “How’s my driving?” stickers with a phone number and vehicle number. I’ve seen far too many limos being douchebags in one way or another and it’s time

Nice video... but one tip.. lose the music! It would have been better without it.

Vette, because I don’t own performance cars with automatic transmissions.

Congrats on getting it running! Awesome story!

Sorry, I’m against it. Hell, I’m against semi trucks, period. Get the damn things off the road. Move cargo transportation to the railroads where it belongs. Cargo hubs near major cities can then take that cargo and deliver it into the cities using box trucks (no trailers), so less road wear, fewer traffic jams, and if

I call BS on this. Even if the username is the Primary Key in the database, add a new column to be a numeric (or GUID) PK, and just update all the database calls accordingly. Frankly, it really wouldn’t be that hard, no matter how big the system is.

Woo! I’ll look forward to reading it.

The red interior is awful. And I generally like red interiors. :)

I had a 1988 XT6 4WD 5-speed. Fun car, but a previous owner had badly abused it so it was a mechanical nightmare.

The whole thing is moronic. Too many cops involved and for far too long. Where was the helicopter or other coordination to box him in much sooner? Cops are idiots.

Okay, here’s a great way to learn to drive a stick. Car dealers will do damn near anything to make a sale. Go find the car you want. Find a really nice salesman. Ask him if he can drive a stick. Hopefully he says yes. Say great, I really want this car, but I can’t. If I buy it, will you teach me? Odds are very good he

Oregon has no such law. At least not yet. I heard there was one in the legislature this year, but I’m not sure if passed. There was one last year too, but it died because somebody amended it to increase Interstate speed limits to 75 mph and of course Oregon can’t have that, not when it drops to 50 mph going through

Okay, fine, I’ll play.

And so you’re absolutely certain that lane splitting is what caused this “horrific crash?” Let’s talk about who’s the idiot then, making assumptions without facts.

This would totally apply to some of the idiot riders who split well above the 15 mph threshold. But at or below 15 mph over, anybody who is paying the proper amount of attention to their driving will see the bike coming. It’s hard to miss a bike’s headlight, even with other cars around it with lights on, because the

The unwritten rule is 15 mph over, and there already is a presumptive attitude that it’s the splitter’s fault. Oh and as for max speed, the other unwritten rule is as long as traffic is traveling under the posted limit, and your speed moving past them is under the posted limit, you’re good to go.
