Crap. Atlanta’s just chillin too. And people swear to me Stranger Things isn’t cancelled. Know what I’m nostalgic for? Regularly scheduled programming.

Look, it’s either this or Better Zoom Call Saul.

And I thought the wait between seasons 4 and 5 was long...

Next up: Consistent and Undeserved Emmy snubs.” -- Jimmy Kimmel

Fuuuuuck. This is the most disappointing news from a TV show that I have been smacked with since Ted married Aunt Robin.

So in terms of 2021 Emmy consideration, Rhea Seehorn will have exactly the same effect on voters as she does when there’s a broadcast season.

So I obviously don’t really understand how things work, but this sounds like bullshit. It would be one thing if it was actual production delays, but from the statement it sounds like they’re pushing it back because they can’t find room on the schedule around all the Walking Dead? Of course I’m very invested in BCS,

she’s a Nexus being, a focal point of the universe

This was the longest episode yet, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the finale took its time getting through everything. What I wanna know is if we’re going to see those standard MCU “X will return in” things for more than one character. Like “Wanda will return in Doctor Strange 2. Monica will return in Captain Marvel 2.

The Stark bomb that dropped on the Maximoff’s house was punishment for selling illegal DVD’s.

I see it more like a much older than normal parent dealing with his daughter who is growing and learning much faster than he can deal with. He was good as raising a little girl on his own but he’s not so good at navigating the waters now that she’s a teenager. That’s partially because of the age difference and

“which he attended, at least in part, on a scholarship he received for his performance on his high school Quiz Bowl team.”

It’s pretty revealing that the first response of some people in this thread is still to shit on Fisher, as evident by the top post. The same people who have been using racially-coded words to dismiss him since last year.

Yep.   I’ve been hedging about Ray Fisher this whole time, and I was clearly wrong and I’ll admit it.

They don’t democratize social environments. They recreate the high school hierarchy, but with themselves on top.

Maybe these revelations will let other people open up about their experiences with Whedon’s on-set behaviour.

Dude sounds like every fucking nerd I ever met who was a stage manager one time. Give them power and they start acting the way that they think “jocks” act.

If the dude has something to put out there, I hope he feels that he’s in a comfortable environment to say it now- considering that Ray has named other people in the production team as contributing to this toxic environment, they deserve a reckoning as much as Whedon does.

I’ve been waiting for someone to finally call him out for specific stuff. It seemed like it had to be there, but Fischer’s allegations were so vague and ambiguous. Which made it easy for Whedon to remain silent because he wasn’t being accused of anything.

With regards to the Bechdel Test, which I was also thinking about while watching the episode: yes Madani and Dumont are talking about Billy and Frank pretty much the whole time but in a way they’re using the two men as a lens through which to talk about their respective careers and how their different viewpoints on
