I forget where I first read it, but whoever said “Trump drinks water like Gollum eats fish” is brilliant.

The only irony is that as identifying as a Republican they are engaging in identity politics as well, they are just too dumb to realize that they are doing it.
I love how they claim they did the “pregnant lingerie model” thing first. I mean, technically yeah but BIG difference between a not-showing 2 month pregnant model and Slick Woods literally going into labor backstage at Fenty
Now this woman is 100% right
To the grays who are gonna pour in and claim that plus size and trans women aren’t a “fantasy”: the online porn industry knows you’re wrong. They also know what your search history looks like.
The article seems to imply that VS is losing customers because of the lack of inclusivity, but cmon most people don’t shop politically. VS is losing business because their stuff sucks and is all about the look and the brand, not the fit or comfort. Their employees do not know how to properly measure someone for a bra.…
They shouldn’t have let that guy speak to the press. Retail’s doing badly, Victoria’s Secret has too many stores, and the sizes in them are getting larger to match the general population, no matter what he says. Their PINK brand is saving their ass, and young women like to think of themselves as pretty inclusive.…
I understand what he’s saying about selling fantasy. They’ve always sold the idea of a man’s fantasy of women to women. The problem is, they’ve still got to sell to women too and women’s tastes have changed over the last decade. And we still want quality. The quality of their clothing doesn’t justify their prices.…
I saw this, and even posted on it in the kinja verse. I will say, except for a couple in the thread, I don’t think they’re trying to pose as black. I think they’re trying to be read as Mixed Sorry, Biracial. Which....I won’t speak on, because picking your battles and shit.
It’s all fun and games until you get arrested for crossing the street with the wrong foot first while being black.
Shouldn’t employers be happy that their underlings don’t want to get pregnant? Or does it only work like that when they would have to be granted parental leave (of more than a week or whatever you get in the US)?
All of 2016 I kept telling people, if that guy won, it was the media’s fault. They gave him a bigger platform than he ever deserved and they platform ignored his base. If the media had ignored him and/or called out his bullshit back then, we wouldn’t be where we are now.
Frustrated...that the media still doesn’t get it that they helped put themselves in this position by being complicit during the 2016 election. And I truly hate what happened to Jim Acostas because he didn’t deserve that crap...but him & his colleagues need to realize how the news played itself to get to this point now.
Totally. I get this man’s reaction 10000%. I get it. But it was wrong, plain and simple, to hit this kid back. Your job, your personal freedom are not worth a punching a little asshole, no matter how shitty the kid was.
I live less than 2 miles from Maywood Academy, and it’s part of the larger community I grew up, and currently live in. I’m honestly really surprised by how divided people are on what this teacher did. I get where his supporters are coming from, but as a social worker working and living in this community, the teacher…
This. This right here is why I never considered being a teacher. I’d be meeting half the damn school by the bike rack.
Isn’t fentanyl sometimes cut with cocaine, unbeknownst to the user?
For her to claim this was merely darker foundation is ridiculous.
There’s a broad grey area, but can we agree that children maybe don’t belong in every restaurant setting? Like, if the restaurant has the lights turned down low, with candles, and wine glasses and cloth napkins, maybe that’s not a restaurant for children? They won’t like it, and might sour the experience for everyone…
Dear Salty,
Both my wife and I work very hard and we think we deserve, nay, are entitled to blow off a lot of steam with a nice dinner out with our 14 month-old Instabook tenant.
Yet we get dirty looks (of jealousy?) wherever we go because we find it convenient to change our kid’s nappy at our table. (It’s the good…
