That's generally because they're heavily subsidized as national carriers. There's no Official United States Carrier anymore. Pan Am used to sorta be in that position.

It just may be because it's a cheesy sports comedy, but I loved it. Love the premise, love Josh Peck. I want more of it.

Let's be honest though, she was a lot less annoying then a fair share of the later seasons characters.
