I was really torn on this one.

Subaru Crosstrek STI

Three grand for running, driving, AWD, AND working AC? This is the definitive winter beater.

Easy nice price, runs and truly cheap.

It’s in here where you’ll find this E88’s party piece, which is the shifter for the car’s General Motors-sourced six-speed manual transmission.

I wanted to say ND, and the mileage is there to back that up....

This thing has serial kill/child abductor vibes. But maybe that’s just because I saw Longlegs recently.

I was all NP until that last pic. What's with the saggy bumper?

You forgot that that friend, the real smart guy, had tears in his eyes when he called. Always tears in their eyes, for some reason.

NP for the velour alone.  It looks like it has ABS too.

They knew what they had yet they priced it wisely.

I got all the leaks stopped on my E24 one time. It was a wonderful 48 hours.

“This is in great shape” plus “I have too many projects” = “This is hiding some horrible demon that I can’t cheaply fix and/or a million little gremlins that I don’t feel like fixing. Brush up on your German, because you will definitely need to make friends with an overseas BMW enthusiast group who can help you source

(approaches bridge, realizes they are too high by like 5')

Do automakers like Maserati include those toolkits in their cars as an inside joke with their customers, or on their customers?
