Way down to…..

Hot take: Odessey & Oracle is better than both.

Case in point: I was a bright "gifted" kid who literally did all of the thing "child genius" you listed above and I was, in hindsight, a pretty giant self-absorbed asshole.

Don't upvote too soon - I ended up switching to a boring ol' History major by graduation because 1) the Egyptology dept was racked by a fairly lurid and disruptive sex scandal and 2) the revolution and subsequent anarchy in Egypt made the idea ever doing fieldwork pretty unrealistic.

"oh no it's a big bug"
"OH NO IT'S AN EVEN BIGGER BUG!"
"OH NO WE'VE FALLEN INTO A NEST FULL OF BUGS THAT ARE EVEN BIGGER!"
(45 minutes pass)
"WHOA MAN THESE ARE JUST THE BIGGEST BUGS EVER, AM I RIGHT?

Might one say…..Newtral?
