I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with most of the comments here. For me The Knick wasnt a great show because of the early 20th century retrospect, it was a great show because that retrospect was a backdrop to a very intriguing group of characters, who we watched interact with changing times and technology.

That was one of the most disturbing things i've ever seen on TV ::shivers::

Now he's back in black….

yeah, I was actually editing my comment to say "and just for being on of the best actors on the show" but you beat me too it lol.

To be fair, Lena Headey deserves it given the "Walk of Shame" scene she is going to have to do.

So now that Tywin is dead everyone is shitting gold?

"Girl, you make my liquid metal want to form a stabbing weapon"

I've seen it all……

That killed me, bravo sir. I will argue that while this is very much in the running it doesn't necessarily just win the "avatar of the sloppy American's soul" award outright, the Little Caesars Pretzel Pizza has something to say about that…..

1. Season 2: As you touched on Jimmy's arc was fantastic and I feel overall this was just the best season. A+
2. Season 3: Loved Gyp, loved Owen and Margaret, loved the Chicago Arc, loved everything about this season. A+
3. Season 1: While sputtering along at a painfully slow pace for a few episodes, it was overall

Haven't seen it yet, but god I hope this show is good……

A. Lynch's movies were never grounded in realism, BE was always logical and as realistic as possible.

Did you watch any of the first 4 seasons? Like at all? Richard did everything in his power to keep Tommy from Gillian because she was a manipulative psycho. Tommy gave every indication of not liking Gillian when he was a kid, then all of a sudden he just ups and leaves Richard's family in the middle of the

Right? He leaves the only family he ever had at the drop of a hat during the Depression, to go on a mission against someone he doesn't know, to avenge someone he barely remembers, at the the coercion of someone he gave every indication of not liking (kid Tommy didn't like Gillian at all, now his voice is cracking as

I think its hilarious that everyone attacking the people who didn't like the finale are saying we just "didn't get it" get over yourselves, we understand the thematic value of it all just fine. We just don't think it makes any sense. Logic does still matter, you don't just get to abandon that because you have

Yup Sopranos finale was all David Chase. Never understood why it got so much hate either, it was better than Boardwalk's was that's for sure.

I always fought tooth and nail that Nucky was more interesting than critics gave him credit for, but it is telling that the show failed the hardest when his story had to carry it.

Terrible ending I think, everything Jimmy and Harrow did to help Tommy was for nothing. Just as with everything this season it all felt contrived and rushed, no regard given for anything that was established in the history of the show. Just a very very poor job by Winter and Co. this year, he must REALLY be in a

I know plenty of "rednecks" who are great people, this family is straight white trash.

Maybe he'll survive this one, no one who comes at the king ever seems to miss.
