“It wasn’t him, Tony!”
“It wasn’t him, Tony!”
“The living aren’t done with you yet.”
Everyone brings up “So was I”, but the better line for me is definitely “He killed me Mom.” RDJ infuses it with the right amount of anger, indignation, and sadness. He doesn’t care if Bucky wasn’t responsible. He still did it and he’s the only one who can be made to pay.
Plainsong by the Cure. The first track off the album Disintegration.
I loved the fight scene set to The Cure’s Disintegration. When Ant-Man & The Wasp referenced Morrissey I realized that these films starring my fake best friend Paul Rudd were Tailor-made for me. The third one will probably have New Order somehow to complete my favorite musical artists trifecta.
Somewhere Marvel has filmed “Luis explains the Marvel Universe”
Ant-Man has 100 percent more Gregg Turkington than any other MCU movie, thereby making it the best MCU movie.
Thank you, Gwen! Glad to see this series return to the positives instead of “moments that were bad about this movie”
I was one who was severely bummed when this movie lost Wright but found myself surprised by how enjoyable it turned out under Reed. The final battle on the train set of a little girl remains one of my…
I’m gonna be the grump here and say that this episode just really wasn’t for me. The problem being that I’m not into romances, I’m not a fan of Jane Austen, and I’m not into musicals - Bollywood or any other kind.
Monica is the Captain Marvel I grew up with and I would have much rather seen a movie about her, personally.
Monica was Captain Marvel in The 1990s and actually led The Avengers, but god forbid a black woman gets a role over a bland blonde
I never would’ve dreamed of Oliver on Legends, but now I really, really want to see it happen.
Pretty sure he will transition into co-hosting All Elite Wrestling’s weekly show when it debuts in 2020.
A little thing I want to add about Mean Gene: When I was a kid WCW was doing a signing at the nassau coliseum in New York. It was Lex Luthor and Mean Gene. When I finally got to them Lex Luthor couldnt hear or understand what I was saying so he just signs the photo and goes “you can sign your name in yourself”. Mean…
Also, the Ba’ul, right down to their sinister echo-voice, reminded me of Armus, the oil slick that killed Tasha Yar.
Armus, Skin of “Contract Termination”. Agreed on the Stargate Ba’ul reference.
Yeah, this episode was dull. Mostly because Kelpians are dull. The Ba’ul (which is totally a Stargate-sounding name) had such an elaborate scheme for suppressing the Kelpians.
I think the meta stuff in this review is kind of a weird way to judge a film. As if most major studio motion pictures these days *aren’t* some form of cash grab? I’m as cynical and black-hearted as the next cinemaphile, but howzabout we judge the movie on *what* it is, not *why* it is?
I was more of Sherry Bobbins child, myself.
The Meaning of the Movie
Although I suppose it has a lot of possible "meanings," I got the feeling that there was one underlying idea of sorts to the film. I'd be curious to know what other viewers think.
