Some of us like orgasms we don't control.

I've always found it weird that people criticize this season for being "too" gay. If you look at the episodes that aired I think barely half even mentioned that she was gay, and mostly because she was dating or with her girlfriend, in which case what else would you friggin' expect?

Are you sure she doesn't mean the lotters? Could be a speech impediment.

Don't forget the extended epic falling!

Jesus Christ nothing here sequiturs.

Well either that or it was full of lions.

I've always assumed that it was the '20s that really created the conception of a decade as a distinct cultural period.

Why do the nudist Aliens sing 'An American in Paris'?

Don't call me Sherri.

I read that and my immediate reaction was "shit that's the most amazing thing I've ever read I have to start watching whatever its quoted from." Then I googled it and it was the Simpsons. Well, duh.

Anyone watch the Wizard of Oz in HD in theatres? I watched the 3D release a few years ago. The quality was so good that most shots looked like something from a modern camera, but Jesus Christ everything was made of felt and plastic and hideous. Far too much colour too. Some things are better in standard definition.

DVR? 2007? Not VHS? What are you, some kind of gazillionaire?

Have you /never/ visited gay porn site?

"Cooper's family - Lusitania? Children?"

Tolkien originally wanted to publish LOTR with the Silmarillion because he thought the LOTR was impossible to understand without the background info.

He's a squid?

Yeah, I didn't get her reaction. That dog was friggin' cute.

Pre-K I used to watch the Simpsons reruns at about 5pm every day. Then one night the show was on at night for some reason and I saw my dad watching it, and after that we couldn't watch it anymore.
I'm very proud today to know that I saw one of the Golden Age episodes when it was first aired.

Boorks?

Lily Tomlin slamming down her cell to "hang up" was an awesome sight gag. Though to be honest I don't get how these septuagenarians seem to have so much ease with so much modern tech (and not just phones). Maybe I haven't been exposed enough to the Upper-Upper-Middle Class?
