Well you sacks of shit have performed as expected.

My comment has nothing to do with the book— it seems interesting. I just need to point out to you that often gray commenters are better informed than the writers and approved commenters across these blogs. Not everyone is a troll. The elitist attitude of being an approved commenter sucks and being approved says

Place was sold out, full of people who’d traveled from all over the country to put on his jersey and watch him strike out twice.

Okay weird question but how did you know how much time had passed each time if you didn’t have a watch or phone?

Even though that law applies to licensed abortion providers, not people self-managing their own terminations, Jessica Burgess was still charged.

You’re a bad person, and literally everyone around you knows it.

But how can you expect someone to raise 3 kids on ONLY $20 000 per month?!  That’s enough for like, one banana.

Exactly, the reason there is a right to a speedy trial is to prohibit the government for tossing you in jail on a charge and just letting you sit, and sit, and sit, with no trial or trial date or anything anywhere on the horizon.

It is also my understanding that this request is pretty pro forma in these big murder cases. Defendants almost always waive that right so that their defense team can have more time to prepare. And that is how it should be. His lawyers should have time. This is a huge case with so many moving parts; it would have been

So Dumb. I’ve had an abortion, I’m glad I did, no regrets and it was because I was way too young and ill-prepared for motherhood, but it’s not like I wanted to get pregnant and have the procedure and it was fabulous. It was a slightly sad solution to a slightly sad problem and pretending otherwise is bizarre and kinda

Once. I defended her once. You know... broken clocks and everything.

Again, these “some people” are literally social media nobodies.  I’m sure Bullock is disappointed to learn at least some of what she was told isn’t true but that’s an entirely separate conversation.  Not one serious person has suggested she return the Oscar.

Yeah, make the appellate court’s job super-easy by citing something applicable only to criminal sentences in this civil matter.

For reference, Buzzfeed got the headline and positioning on this “news” story right:

She didn’t report on what people are saying on the internet. She linked to other people who were reporting on it, and provided no relevant new information or insight. The bar for journalism is not just “writing that makes reference to current events” - there has to be some value-add.

In other news, calls for Ralph Fiennes to be tried in the Hague for war crimes for his role as Amon Goeth in Schindler’s List have reached a fever pitch.

It’s all fun and games until their targets are hit with thousands of death threats.

Someone has to be blamed and the new person is Sandra Bullock who didn’t write the story or have anything to do with production (other than being hired to play a role).

People should note that it’s not as simple as “does Maui want tourists to come? YES/NO.” While someone quoted a piece that says parts of Maui are open, there’s more to it:

In case anyone is wondering, key piece of information that was left out is that Hilton arrived on the island almost a week ago. So, I guess her sin is - not being able to predict the future?
