I had a car for a while with just a cd player. Soldered an aux cord directly on the audio output for the cd player. Burned a cd with silent audio so the CD player would play without music. Worked awesome and took very little effort.

A warning buzzer probably. Maybe for when you leave your lights on. My Feroza had something similar under the dashboard, it didn’t do anything. Until one day a bicycle hit my door, since then it buzzed every time I opened the door with the lights on.

I actually like this, the little details like the extra seat, the (what looks like) steel rims and the tow capacity of over 3500 kg just shows that even though is looks nothing like the old one it still is gonna be a true Defender.

Nah, Cummins swap and enjoy.

It won’t be a body on frame, and it will have independent suspension all around. This was confirmed a while back.

That’s what I thought. But then I realized that the North American Ranger only gets a 1,640 pound payload capacity (with 4x4).

All this seems to be focust at cooling at the front and I can’t help but wonder: What about the back? Isn’t there space between the truck bed and the outer bodywork where you could fit an additional radiator, or between de truck bed and the cab? Or would that be really expensive and not really effective?

I very recently traded in my pile of junk that I called my (t)rusty truck on a Ford Focus. I loved that little 4x4, had a smile every time I got behind the wheel and learned to fix and weld on it, but it was getting out of hand. Fluid was leaking out everywhere, it would overheat often, the rust was eating up the

IFS is fine for off road use. I prefer solid axles though because it’s so much easier to modify.

To be honest I was hoping on a Wrangler/Jimny like model when there was very little info but now I’m just hoping on a utilitarian Disco 3/4. If it’s gonna be like that I will be satisfied and I might consider buying one if the price is reasonable and under that of a current Discovery.

Please, in the name of HUE, oil leaks and bad heaters let it still have an utilitarian interior. I don’t care about the outside that much but please don’t f up the inside.

I personally think that it’s only right to re-badge it back to it’s original European model.

To be honest there where plenty of MBs and GPWs available in Europe after the war en yet the Land Rover sold really well. So maybe it wouldn’t have been a problem.

I really like the old Land Rover Defender ones. Not only is it very simple but it also has a trailer indicator light that tells you if the trailer lights are hooked up and working correctly.

But they aren’t popular in the Netherlands either. The Outlander was, because of the financial benefits but now those benefits are gone nobody wants them.

That 160HP makes it a a reliable donkey. It won’t get you anywhere fast but it will get you anywhere, always.
