Them getting together is basically all I want out of the show at this point.
The dialogue did a bad job of conveying it, but that was entirely because of where they were sitting. That was where the wedding occurred. Bran was seeing it happen while they were sitting in the same spot in the present day.
Except there's no actual reason for him to be there beyond plot mechanics. To paraphrase Ray from Archer, they only invited him to round out the numbers.
