He's a knockoff Joshua Jackson who just gets in the way of the protagonists because they killed off all the actual characters who should have that role already.

It can be two things

It's gonna take about 30 seconds of Bran saying creepy shit before everyone realizes putting him in charge is a bad idea.

Who hasn't, at this point?

It also seemed like the only way to resolve that scenario and have Yara come out alive. Staying to fight = Euron killing Yara to egg him on.

Dude has a magic penis, you don't fuck around with some basic moody piano shit with that!

Grey Worm and Missandei had their scene because some level of payoff was needed for those characters and they probs aren't going to be super relevant after this, so, best get it out of the way now. (Same kinda goes for the Nymeria scene, in a way? Tying up old threads to clear room for the end game).

It's cheesy as hell but I kinda love that this season is the "fuck it, everybody meets everybody" season.

side note, but Dickon was the guy who played Billy Bones off of Black Sails, right? Should we be expecting to see more of Dickon?

There's no way a "redeem Ramsay as the chaotic anti-hero sidekick" plot would've worked, but him being the devilish companion to Sam in the Citadel might… actually have been kind of fun to watch? If they hadn't made Ramsay quite so terrible.

I was fine with the Jorah thing until the puss splurted out and then it was just, well, props for verisimilitude, you fuckers.

Only good things happen when characters meet Hot Pie.

Euron's assault being dumb isn't so much a thing as "actually impossible to pull off." Like, it was the middle of the night. You try co-ordinating a sneak attack involving thousands of ships in the middle of the night that involves fleeing 30 minutes in, let alone finding the enemy fleet to attack in the first place.

I figure he's got a good 30 minutes of life left once Arya shows up, though.

Seriously. Although the whole point of having that strong a cast is that you actually use them, instead of putting everyone on "Encourage Barry" duty and brush them aside to make room for more speedsters.

Plus, Blaze did actually show up for like 20 seconds, on top of all the hints they dropped. They just never outright named him.

Jason and the Argonauts being a big crossover event probably tipped a few people off…

Look, I'm not saying I'd start watching again if Danny Trejo turned out to be Earth-19's Cisco - icky implications for Gypsy aside! - but if they wanted me to start watching again, making it about how Cisco grows up to be Danny Trejo would be a good place to start.

Well, either that or he's just talking about the space-weed…

Listen to your friend, Alternate-Universe Circus Billy Zane. He's a cool dude.
