Well, my understanding is it's 20 and 30 somethings that are registering for classes or whatever you call it, but on the other hand I have no idea what the actual age range is for millenials so…*shrug*.

A Dazzler solo movie is the only thing that can redeem this franchise.

Reading a hyperbolic review that summarizes an argument =/= actually hearing that argument and being shown why it is anything more than well intentioned faff. That's what the fucking documentary is for, otherwise there's no point to any of this.

The little bit of the Whedon script I saw made it seem like an attempt at a deconstructionist approach, which while interesting in theory is probably not the route you want to take with the first AAA superhero woman.

Killing people shouldn't be held up as a sign of character agency, though. We assume it as standard because movies have ingrained that in their audiences but considering Leia was neither a trained soldier nor prone to violence, her failure to join in on the shooting shouldn't be seen as a weakness or anything like

Weird-but-boring seems like its own trap, but kinda interesting to hear the world-building being given priority over actual story since it seems like that's usually a complaint you hear more with books than movies.

Except that's another mouth you have to feed, plus medical upkeep, so if you're so desperate for sustenance that you're eating other people, it would make more sense to just build a smokehouse or some other way of preserving the meat. If eating people avoids the huge costs of maintaining livestock, then deciding to

Trump is a human numbers station!

There's a Plessy v. Ferguson joke in here somewhere but I'm not gonna be the one to make it…

Matt Damon is Jesus Christ It's Jason Bourne, this is the other guy.

Admirals are just captains who forgot to board their ship before it left Spacedock and just started giving orders to whoever was in earshot.

Hey, if the legal system could find a way to teach everyone a valuable lesson while increasing their civic engagement in a way that also ensures they won't repeat the instigating misdemeanor or what have you, they would probably prefer to do that.
