I’d be more ok with this deadening treadmill of constant remakes and reboots if more of them were able to “get” what worked about their predecessors. So few of them do and end up feeling like watching some other kid playing with your action figures.

In fact, I’d argue the cast was one of the only good things about that movie. It took funny actors and saddled them with the dumbest one-liners, choppiest editing, laziest plot, and clunkiest pacing in recent memory.

I once read that the four British guys who did the main voices for that weird Yellow Submarine cartoon movie from the 60s were actually started a band together!
