Neither Connery nor Moore played Bond eight times. Connery played him six times (including the 'unofficial' movie Never Say Never Again in 1983) and Moore played him 7 times.

I really think the Nolan films are being painted in the wrong light nowadays - they're not as grim and muddy as people make them out to be. They really are very colourful and quite funny - people complained when Batman Begins came out that there was too many puns!
