Most cars have a “drive cycle” that if executed correctly will set readiness on a variety of sensors in a shorter time frame. That’s not correct. Turbo performance at low rpm’s really depends on the turbo configuration and the engine tuning. Twin scrolls can make peak torque at really low RPM’s.

Check out the torque curve for the new jeep turbo for example, it blows the 3.6 out of the water.
