Yeah... I’m hungry for some REAL Cajun food right now. Hard to get in Dallas.
edit: I got the boudain and put it in a cooler... for later. It came home with me and sat in my freezer until I really needed a fix. :D

One More: I was down in southern Louisiana about 10 years ago, and stopped into a small mom & pop grocery store in LaFayette for boudain. On the way out, the guy (who had taken a liking to me. Texans with an appreciation of Cajun food can’t be all bad, right?) He gave me a small bag of cracklins. Now for those of you…
My parents are the same. It comes from growing up in the depression through WWII when you weren’t always sure where your next meal would come from.
Note: We now also have In N Out.
We have an AYCE rib joint that we like to hit now and again. Great ribs, BYOB, and a good price ($10 at the time, $15 now).
My buddy and I were there one day and he decided to challenge me. Now, he’s a little guy, weighing about 140 at the time, so he was pretty much just messing with me. We’ve been friends since…
First thing that I thought of as well.
Actually, Lodge is the brand I want in my kitchen.

Be warned... this thing is BIG! I’m not talking about puny Galaxy Note or Apple 6+ big... I’m talking FREAKING BIG! One of my co-workers has the 6+, and it fits inside the bevel of the case on my Nexus 6. That being said, it’s a glorious phone.

I bought one that looks just like this from an estate sale about 20 years ago. It flat out rocks. I also bought about 20 packets of blades at the same place. All for about $10. Best money spent ever. I think I even still have a few packets of those blades around somewhere. (I only shave with a blade on occasion, using…

Yes, yes it is. I don’t buy “smart TVs.” Waste of money. The user experience on most of them is pretty piss-poor as well. And you can’t side-load a couple hundred million Android apps on them either. (Unless of course, they’re Android TVs...) Plus, I’ll keep a TV for 10 years, whereas I’ll likely upgrade my Dongle a…
I just have to chime in that I’ve never had any significant lag from any of my Fire TV Sticks in the interface. I’m not sure what’s going on with yours, but I have 3 of the things, and they all work great.
I’ve modified my Fire Stick (The one I’ve had since day 1, as I got it for $20) and have never had a problem with it.
If you don’t mind slightly more bulk than the Fire TV Stick, May I suggest something like this?
The Fire stick should take care of you. I actually have an older Android Stick (imito MX2) in my travel bag and a keyboard/touchpad that works really well. It’s slightly larger than the Fire TV Stick & the remote is also slightly larger, but it’s a full version of Android 4.x.
That being said, I have 3 Fire TV Sticks…
Depends on how ninja-like you are. If they don’t see you, you should be good.
I do this on my own pasta. For my wife, I have to make sure the Parmesan is CLEARLY and MASSIVELY evident on top of her sauce. (I’m of Italian descent, and this is how we’ve done this as long as I’ve been alive) Otherwise, she accuses me of holding out on her. :D (She’s PROBABLY screwing with me)
So what are you leaning toward, Android-device-wise?
It’s just as bad with cars. I have friends who wouldn’t buy a Ford to save their lives. In fact, when I bought my Focus, one buddy was scandalized, even when I told him it had better features and cost less than the Chevy Cruze. He really hated it when I told him that the nail in the coffin for the Cruze was the…
Sometimes, as a Windows Admin and phone enthusiast (everyone who knows me knows I’m good at getting technical stuff working), I have to sit through people either going on about how great X phone is, or them wanting me to fix X phone’s issue, or worst of all, them bitching about X phone. It’s especially obnoxious when…
