I'd have probably handed her 3 sweet and low packets and let her figure it out herself. Of course, this is why I'm no longer in food service.

I like somewhere between medium and medium well myself.

Rare makes me want to sit back and watch my wife get an internal parasite.

When I was 16 I worked at Whataburger. We had the Double-Meat man.

Every time he came in (About 2-3 times a week) he'd order the same thing. Double-meat Double cheese, rare as hell, with mustard on one side, mayo on the other. Fries cooked 1.5 minutes (Yeah... limp, soggy, and gross) and a large sweet iced tea.

That

The other advice I have is to go to a big box store and actually look at the TVs. The wife and I did that and got that 47" no frills job from RCA. It just looked the best (For the Under $500 we had budgeted). I've had it about 9 months now and am completely happy with it. It's just the right size for my living room,

You might want to indicate size. You can get a decent, no frills 47" 1080p TV for under $500, but the 80" still runs in the thousand + range.

And I suggest looking at reviews on Amazon. Even if you don't buy from them, other peoples' experiences can be a useful indicator. I always try to read 5-10 positive AND

It'd be better with a mounted gun turret strapped to it!

I used to be an apartment dweller. Early one Saturday morning (Around 7AM, if I remember correctly), someone was trying their damned best to get into my apartment. I had an internal deadbolt, with no key, so they weren't able. I strapped my pistol to my waist, and looked through the peep hole. It was one of the

An alarm is only one layer of home defense.

Here's 2 more.

I thought the Nikon 50 1.8 was the worlds best lens (For under $120... heh)

Just got my wife the Nikon 35mm 1.8... hope it fares better than that!

Ahh... that nice light tripod... I have a GREAT pistol grip tripod, but that bastard's heavy. No way I can take it along unless I'm driving... Of course, the Sherpa costs about as much as I paid for the big boy... :p

You haven't been to Texas lately, have you?

Only 4 in Dallas... I guess we're manlier here! I can only assume those 4 are Yankee transplants. :D

AFAIK, Lodge is the only cast iron skillet still made in the US. I LOVE my Lodge skillets. I expect them to last longer than I do.

My mother has some iron skillets that are over 60 years old. When she's gone, those are mine, dammit. 60 years of bacon grease baked into the patina makes for incredible tasting food!

OK... cars that don't suck. You guys didn't get it right until long after Henry Ford showed you how to mass produce a reliable machine. Sure, some of the hand-made machines are pure bliss to drive, but those are anomalies in the system only for the 1%.

It's the loss of DIN mounting that cheeses me off... That and the fact that it looks flimsy to me. Might not be, mind... I'm just mentioning my impression. I sat in the '14 Mazda3 and wasn't impressed in the least. They had just sold the '13 I wanted, and were trying to get me into the '14. I went with the Ford Fusion

The lower-end stereo is even worse. I actually enjoyed the controls on the steering wheel of my '07 Mazda3. I thought they were about perfect.

Europeans have been making beer for hundreds of years before we have. We've been making cars longer than Europeans have. Your point is invalid. (Plus, the micro-brew market has exploded, showing that many Americans are moving away from shitty beer)

Ugliest.stereo.evah!
