I'm getting almost straight up 30 mpg, but I have a LOT of stop lights and crappy traffic (Hello Dallas). When I'm on the highway mostly, I'm getting about 33.

I got mine for $16K out the door. Traded in a Jetta Diesel. I sure miss THAT gas mileage, but I don't miss the repair bills. (The Jetta was an '01 and had 182K miles and was starting to REALLY fall apart)

Umm... not nnecessarily... I cook with the stuff on occasion as my wife is gluten intolerant, so I've got some experience. Not trying to be a dick, just trying to let you know that there's definitely all-purpose GF flour readily available from quite a few manufacturers.

Actually, it keeps food prices down as well. Go look at the cost of eating out in Germany, for example. Those living wages equal $10 Big Mac Value Meals. No joke. Brazil? $40 pizza anyone? French Toast Slam at Dennys in the US? $6.99. New Zealand? $12.05 ( 13.90 NZD). You take the price of eating out for granted.

An adult should be able to make a judgment call. If the server is lackluster, and isn't trying, and the service sucks, no tip. On the other hand, if the kitchen screws up the order (and the server wrote it down instead of trying to keep 8 orders straight), and the server works to make it right, then they get a tip…
