So will the replacement engine(s) have the same architecture?

I use a quart every 4-5000 miles. Lose, actually, there’s an extremely slow leak.
It’s a 2003 GMC Sonoma, 2.2L oHV, with 315,000 miles on it and the engine still has all the factory gaskets in it.
