That’s exactly what my coworker brought up when I showed it to him. I couldn’t imagine accidentally dropping it or breaking some unobtainable piece.

I’ll repeat what others have said, WATCH FOR RUST. Take a reaaaal good look, and don’t just look at the easily visible portion of the frame rails. You’re gonna want to get under and look at the inside of the rail, they tend to rust from the inside out. Read more

I’ve had a set of these for a month in my Lexus. They seem to be holding up pretty good, even with me getting my grimy work boots on em.

That’s unfortunate. I think it’d just be cheaper at that point to go with a full aftermarket air setup like AccuAir.
