So - and I know this is a stretch - maybe they could create new “villains” as enemies?

“but I think it would look really dumb for a modern television show that happens to be set in the same time period as TOS to be wearing 60's miniskirts and be using 60's idea of computers”

The difference is that the evolution of the Stormtrooper armour makes sense. Afterall TFA is set 30 years after ROTJ. Whereas, the Klingon redesign makes little sense and looks dreadful.

Calling Klingons “ever changing” is missing a lot of context. The original Klingons appeared as they did for three seasons of TV and roughly ten years, and then they were updated to the more “classic” look for the first movie, and they remained that way over dozens of seasons, films, games, and 3+ decades of real

They didn’t look live. There was no explosion on the ground. That looked like impact and excess fuel burning off.

Plus the fact that he WANTS TO DO IT.

Did you know that he wrote just about that entire song based on internet spoilers? Apparently he tweaked the song a bit after seeing the movie, but that’s why the song came out so soon after the movie came out!

The designers even sculpted the face with both McGregor and Alec Guinness in mind

Since they were willing to bring back Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa they should be willing to bring back Ewan. He’s the best thing to come from the prequels.

I’ll admit it; I really want Ewan MacGregor to get a shot at playing Obi-Wan again in a good movie. I think he’d do well with a director.

Nah... they’re just locking people up nowadays for being GLBT in Russia, and their satellite states (Chechnya for instance) outright advocates for throwing gay people off the roofs of tall buildings (and other forms of killing).

Leaving? No. Not bothering to identify with you people? Yes. Do I need to slide to the right to say “I don’t like the way you people act, speak, or think about a lot of things?” You would say “YES” enthusiastically as you speak for me. But nope. I’m still a democratic socialist who will continue to vote that way. I’ll

First, whenever anyone mentions Nazism it’s pretty clear that placing a value on “race,” and celebrating the nation are Bad Things. Because some people like to worship their nation, and Nazism seems the inevitable (and bad) logical outcome of this, they feel the need to point out communism was bad, because in their

I don’t give two squirts if you don’t pull me out of the greys, as if Kinja actually matters, it’s a system that literally fosters group think like Reddit, clap for yourself all you want but that’s what it is.
