Blocking annoying ads is only part of the equation. The more problematic, dangerous aspect is “malvertising”, where ads can actually infect your computer with malware (including ransomware). That’s really my main motivation for using an ad blocker. And if Google can actually force ad networks into increasing their

Read: Gizmodo Media Group will have to pick a different, less fucking annoying advertising strategy.

So install an ad blocker and whitelist the sites you visit regularly. If any of them display the kinds of ads you don’t like, remove them from your whitelist.

To be fair, I doubt anybody would actually choose to wear a superhero outfit if this was supposed to be at least somewhat realistic. Especially one with a cape. Capes look cool on television, but are a pain in the ass in real life.

LOL. Remember when the Galaxy s4 came out with the hand gestures. Pain in the ass.

With the advent of nanotech, storing the suit in the ring is possibly the least implausible aspect of the Silver Age Flash story.

Why not just put the entire trailer on there... disconnect the cab... ship it via Hyperloop and connect a new cab on the other end? Not only would it arrive faster, use less fuel/power to ship, and require less manpower... but it would also take an enormous amount of wear-and-tear off of our existing highway

I think there is a place for autonomous docking stations, where a driver (for now) or ai drives up to the station to perform last mile transactions. Extra points if you can simply use sea cans.

Yeah, the Flash tv show had the luxury of having the suits made of some kind of fabric.

Yeah, the costume since it is not fabric, wouldn’t make sense in a ring. That was one of the coolest things on the television show when the Reverse Flash did the costume ring. And even better, it clearly interested Cisco when he brought it up later.

“He’s described as being from a poor background, a boy who has to fight to make his way in the world”

Not entire sure if anyone could design a ring to hold a gaggle of polygons, endless amounts of mesh to mount them to, and a fairly amusing codpiece without going for a size that would make an NBA championship ring look understated by comparison.

Oh Ezra, hon, bless your heart. The suit not coming out of a ring on his finger is the least of the problems with that costume and ‘lore’ of this version of The Flash.

I had an LG G2. There are three buttons and a camera on the back. I never had a problem hitting the right one. In fact once I put a case on the phone it was even easier because of the cut out. This author and people like her are either dumb or just like to complain.

Fermented chaos is best chaos

Put it in the apple logo. BOOM, mind blown.

the opinion that “finger print readers on the back are inconvenient” seem to come from people who haven’t actually owned a phone like that and forget that humans have the capability to adapt. even the galaxy s8's “poor placement” isn’t bad... once you get used to it. it takes a bit, but muscle memory eventually kicks

Which phones have you used with it on the back? I LOVE it on the back over the front.

Android makers have simply moved the scanner to the back of the device, it’s an inelegant solution. Blindly looking for the right spot to touch on the back of your phone is a minor but crucial inconvenience compared to a quick press of the home button on the front.

On the back is pretty inconvenient IMO
