I don’t think the last generation Cougar had a Ford counterpart.

Toyota and Honda front ends look too busy IMO... On the other hand, I think Hyundai said ‘let’s combine the designs of the A3 and the Mazda 3 and see what happens.’ It worked out quite nicely.

If everyone’s asking price is in the same ballpark, then maybe it’s you who’s wrong about the pricing... this is simply how market economies work (supply and demand, etc.)

I feel like this is one of those cars that look better in real life than they do in pictures. With that being said, I think the picture used in the article is actually not very flattering, as it reminds me of the BMW X6 (which I personally find atrocious.)

You forgot to add in gas, insurance, maintenance, tolls...I just finished paying a loan at $300/month; my monthly car expenses averaged about $600-700. (Btw I also live in NJ.)

Or, if you want to get a new vehicle every couple of years, just lease!
