Don’t forget about Rivian. They’re floating under the radar for the most part but are doing some good work with common sense.

Laughed out loud at the triple square comment.

As a fellow QOTSA fan, the way I look at is that Josh Homme was likely drunk and/or high and maybe thought “It’d be an awesome picture if I did a sweet air kick right in front of the camera.” Then due to said drunk/highness missed the air and hit the camera. This is likely just me being in denial of him being a total

Being in the auto industry is a lot of fun when you know things others don’t. Being responsible for a supplied component on the JL four liter turbo, I was pretty sure the 368 horsepower claim was wrong, but if not I suddenly got very worried about the durability of my part.

They took Targa from the Targa Florio Rally and applied it to their car. So they took the term and made it mean something in the automotive design world.

Dells was my first thought too.

I’ve run my B5.5 Passat 40 miles past the 0 miles remaining mark and still put in a gallon and a half. I know there are about 3-4 gallons remaining when the light comes one and know the gas mileage I get so while it felt dangerous, I knew it’d be fine.

That and “Rear seats did were in fact safer...” I’m usually understanding and not a person to pick apart every little mistake, but holy shit this is a four paragraph article, do a little proof reading before hitting publish.

I’m planning an Italy trip for next spring and want to make a stop at the museum. I highly doubt I’ll be able to convince my wife to visit both, so which would you recommend if you only do one?

I had this thought at first. She could have done the same thing auto or manual, but if it weren’t a manual transmission she would have been in the back seat or trunk rather than driving because the kidnappers would have been able to drive it.

Before we get all upset at this one and how it isn’t as good as Top Gear UK, instead ask yourself if you’d rather be watching this or another HGTV show with your significant other.

I’d believe it if it weren’t for the spoiler. My B5.5 Passat has a cD of 0.27.

The aero advantage for the Civic mostly comes down to overall body shape. The more the rear cabin tapers down, the better Cd it’ll have. Since the Civic is more sedan shaped than hatch shaped, it’ll have the better Cd. Also longer objects have less drag assuming all other things the same. Not sure how Subaru’s is that

This is how I celebrated 200k with my Passat. Also, yes I ate the cupcake afterwards.

Driving home from work I was behind a 550 Gran Coupe while driving my E46 M3 and we were stuck behind a car doing 50 in a 55 on some back roads. When we got to where I turn off to take a different route, the slow car kept going straight and the 550 took the same left I take. He absolutely gunned it and I of course

I had the same thought. Thankfully it wasn’t Crystal Farms or Sargento either.

Hah! Like Audi drivers look in their mirrors...

Looks like you hit publish before you finished the article.

Lights off when it’s raining. Even if the visibility doesn’t 100% necessitate it, if someone doesn’t abide by the “wipers on, lights on” rule they’re most likely a bad driver.

130,000 mile S54 engine here. Can confirm constant rational fear.
