In my mind I always refer to "The Morning Shift" as "The Morning Shit." The article itself is great, I just used to always read it while on the toilet in the morning.

I typically skip Keep Me in Your Heart whenever it comes on my iPod. One time it came on while my wife was in the car and I decided to introduce the song to her. We both teared up so we skipped it before it was over.

There was a three pronged attack that went into my E46 M3 purchase-

Jerry Seinfeld needs to land him for Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. The car talk and back and forth would be great, and he could probably get a serious discussion out of Clarkson. I'm envisioning a heart to heart like the one he had with Michael Richards.

You'll need a car carrier to get all those cars that you actually want to drive.

For the Lotus SUV we should try approaching it like the marketing guys in the Top Gear Scirocco advertisement episode. The SUV isn't making Lotus worse, Lotus will make the SUV better.

I skimmed the entire article before emailing the link to my coworkers. I wanted to make sure that it wasn't some sort of trick. I was prepared and you still won. Well done, well done indeed.

I'm not sure what the typical Koenigsegg driver is like but I'd imagine at least some of them are the rich drive them around Monaco sort. I wonder if they'll have to start installing chargers for them to use.

In the end, everyone burns alone. Fixed that for you, also no this joke has not gotten old yet.

I hope that doesn't catch on. I love being able to close the shade when it's raining heavily to quiet things down a little bit.

Not sure if this link will get you to the album but it was at Lake Mills Cars and Coffee last June. I think I heard it's Jim Fuch's but I'm not positive (he also has an F40).

I wonder how many TVRs there are in Wisconsin. I know of one in the Milwaukee area.

That'd be a bit fowl, don't you think?

We bought a 2011 Golf TDI last summer for my wife's daily driver. I've been kicking myself when comparing gas and diesel prices the past few months.

Yes and no. I agree that increased airflow justifies some of the grille growth, but look at the size of Focus ST grille for example. It's huge and when you look at it up close, 1/4 of the area is solid plastic with a grille look to it

And I admit, Steven makes an interesting point, because the thing they have in Europe is fuel economy. I have been to Europe several times, and while I routinely bemoan the fact that my rental car over there is always some sort of fax-machine-sized hatchback with a motor sourced from a paper shredder, I must admit

No way, this guy has much more celebrity backing.

VW ordered a stop-sale and recall on TDIs to add bright yellow warnings to remind people that it takes diesel. There is already diesel on the fuel door, diesel on the filler cap, and the blocker piece so you can't put a standard nozzle in (if the gas station has nozzles installed correctly).

Stealing cars to feed a drug addiction. This man is such a Brat.

If it's an imaginary car the only equation that can truly equal it is √¯¯-1
