Due to the confusion caused by these lights, I prefer when all the lights just go to flashing reds. I've come across many people who think "I have a flashing red, so he must as well. I'll enter the intersection in front of him and cause him to slam on the brakes."

It sounds like the bigger issue is that there was no outside investigation into it. If it was the driver's fault then yeah, he took the risk and it's a tragedy but it is what it is. But if there was some sort of negligence by the track like they sent him out with bald tires, broken suspension components, something

Good to know, I'll have to call the dealers around me to see if they have the parts as well.

What a tremendous waste of tax payer money!

You inspired me Doug. Last night my wife and I finally took off all the dealer things from her Golf TDI. They went big- front license plate frame, rear license plate frame, AND a sticker on the rear bumper.

I just got the letter yesterday for my 2002 M3. It said that the parts aren't available yet and they will send another letter when they get in. Funny that the only immediate action was to alert other drivers of the car. "Danger! Frag grenade in air bag if deployed. No big deal, just let other drivers know for now."

I have theory that people who spell their name Carl are typically stranger than those who spell it Karl.

Hooray I got #2! And from the greys, it's a real Cinderella story.

My wife and I went to Negril, Jamaica for our honeymoon 3 months ago. We signed up for our day trip through our tourist group to go on a river boat trip, visit the second largest waterfalls on the island, and go on a rum tour. There were eleven of us, a tour guide, and the bus driver on the small tour bus. We went on

I too have a soft spot for them but because my dad had one when I was 16. First car I did donuts in (in the snow). His was a mix of reliability, needed the head rebuilt at 140,000ish miles but other than that the thing made it to 180,000 miles when he traded it in. The driver's door began rusting around 160,000

Sold out in 15 minutes in Milwaukee. Within a few hours there were plenty of $40 tickets on craigslist for $100+

Yeah I know, just figured I'd mention the only one I've seen in our area.

There's a 650 gran coupe in the Racine area. The guy certainly enjoys the car and gets on it at every light. It sounds absolutely fantastic, I turn off my music and open the windows to listen to it.

Volkswagen's use of the triple square bolt. I searched 4 places before I found an M10 and when I finally went to use it, it wouldn't fit between the engine and the edge of the bay. All I want to do is change out a squeaky tensioner!

I heard the track isn't up to the safety standards necessary in F1. Not sure what that entails or if it's the only reason though. I'd love it to be there, an hour drive to get there would be quite nice.

Should football scores not be posted until the day after the game? I understand getting upset when the races are at odd hours because most people will watch that delayed but when when qualifying is in the middle of the day you can't complain much.

There appears to be some aftermarket parts present. I don't think the Supra is stock either.

They are required to get out of a car in under 5 seconds, so he would be able to get out before the car hit the ground. Though he'd only be 100 meters up and moving around 50 m/s so it'd be unlikely he'd have time for the parachute to deploy. I'm a nerd so that was a fun quick calculation to do.
