Yeah, if anything I was surprised people weren't vocal about lumbaka earlier on. Like I said, it felt very much like an awkward "elephant in the room" situation. It was pretty clear something about him was…off.

Oh good, the elephant in the room is gone.

Actually I live in New Jersey!

YAY I GOT TICKETS TO BROAD CITY LIVE AT UCB and I never see anything cool so I feel okay bragging about this.

AD got SO MANY CHANCES, too. They gave it a great timeslot in Season 1, it failed. Instead of cancelling it, they gave it a better timeslot in Season 2, and it still failed. They put it behind American Idol…they did pretty much everything in the power to make it work.

I'd say all of FOX's comedies have reason to worry, because they're all pretty marginal ratings-wise, and it's not certain a new president will be as patient with them as Reilly was. Then again, they can't get rid of them if they have nothing to replace them with.

I'm a little worried, too. Then again, Reilly was fired after 30 Rock's first season at NBC so maybe this means it'll get six more seasons!

Well, Reilly has been behind lots of good shows: The Sopranos, The Office, 30 Rock, Friday Night Lights, New Girl. He went to bat for shows like 30 Rock, The Office, Fringe, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Enlisted despite terrible ratings. I think it's fair to say he was more concerned with quality television than many other

Kevin Reilly should probably be running a cable network.

I like B99 but it is very much just a carefree and "safe" ensemble sitcom. Which is fine, but it puts it below the "best ever" level that some seem to want to place it in.

It's funny how that video is probably the most significant thing to come out of Season 4.

He hadn't quit yet.

I only want one more season (and, yes, a movie). I really just don't think there's *that* much left to this story.

Really, I just wish they would resist the urge to report until there was more certainty on either side.

I had more or less made my peace with the show being done and now, of course, this.

There's no way that isn't intentional, right?

FUCK YES BROAD CITY

At this point, attempting to do a good multi-camera sitcom would probably classify as "experimental", so I would love to see someone like Dan Harmon or Tina Fey have a shot at it. It's why I'm excited for Mulaney, even if the trailer wasn't great.

I saw the pilot and thought it was awful. Apparently it gets better in later episodes, but obviously it isn't going to get time to find itself.

I mean, Walter never bludgeoned Skyler to death with a hammer and then blamed it on Hank, so…
