1. What are your thoughts on New Girl Season 3? I know you were a big champion of S2 but obviously S3 has been…different.

Hey, I didn't know you liked Broad City! I don't think I've seen you talk about it. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE EPISODE?!?!?!

If Community and Happy Endings are shows that never found their groove, then what is a show that *did* find its groove? I haven't seen too many shows as self-assured as Community and Happy Endings at their peaks.

My thought process is more along the lines of "I can't wait to see which one of the networks' new shows will be good".

Also, the "meteor destroying human civilization" line kinda really bothers me now.

Basically.

Yeah, as mad as I am about this cancellation, this isn't a Firefly or a Freaks and Geeks or even a Happy Endings or Arrested Development. We're lucky we got what we did. We have a full, complete show to look back on and enjoy.

I think the show has run its course, too. I just wish the ending could've been on its own terms. If NBC had announced this was the final season upfront and had allowed Harmon to put together an ending on its own merits, I would have a very different attitude, #SixSeasonsAndAMovie and all. The unceremonious killing is

Right?! I didn't even expect this reaction. I mean, there's a decent chunk of me that's really happy we got five seasons of this show - seriously, that's a great run and we should all be proud of it for getting that far - but then there's another part of me that feels like this is just the ultimate "fuck you" and a

I really hate the anger I am feeling towards it, honestly. But it's there.

Weirdly, the first thing I did today when I got home from work after hearing the news was take down my Parks & Rec posters.

Honestly, I would've been pretty much fine with Community ending this year if a) "six seasons and a movie" wasn't a thing and b) Season 5 offered more in the way of closure. I really feel like the show has earned a proper ending, and Basic Sandwich was just not it. I'm pretty big on finality with TV shows and it would

Yeah, the "Chang takes over the school" arc remains the nadir of Harmon's Community to me. I would put S3 over S5 on the whole, probably, but I really hate that arc.

Community never had a "mass audience".

I thought it was because Hannibal was running well into the summer and they wanted to wait on more ratings? I'm kinda assuming its fate will be announced along with everything else this year.

It was presumed dead for a long time but there was some buzz that Fox was considering giving it a second chance on the heels of Seth's new movie. Luckily, they came to their senses.

Whatever happened last night, he seemed to have changed course this morning. Not sure if that's to cover his ass or because anything changed.

It doesn't really make sense to me that Parks was an assured renewal in January and Community is on the margins. I know, NBC owns Parks and blah blah blah but their ratings are practically identical!

Fate of "Community" at NBC will probably be a cliffhanger during next 24-48 hours.

I think Fisher is toast, but NBC will find any way to renew About a Boy. It really solidifies that it's only a timeslot hit though (and just barely at this point).
