This. I’ve been let off by the police at least a few times simply because I didn’t argue, showed respect and was compliant. That doesn’t mean they are always justified in what they do, but hey, the officer has a gun and the law on their side. I can save my pride for another day.

I have to agree with you, the enthusiasm and energy between them was so authentic, it was pretty damn awesome. There are things we could easily pick apart in the movie, but it was human moments like these that completely sold me.

There is a distinct difference between actively trying to avoid what you are ‘focused’ on, and just letting go. One still engenders stress and obsessiveness, the other you simply stop thinking about about, and thus, corrects itself.

It all depends on the company too. Where I work, at least my specific branch, we are all about the customer until they cross the line and are scamming us. We basically rate our customers according to how much they spend or potentially will spend with us and do our best to work with them accordingly.
