See, I thought the turn around did make decent sense. Andy valued his family unit and claimed he wanted to keep it together as long as possible, immediately wanting to imprint as an uncle rather than a second cousin or a cousin once removed. He knows that the youngest, the child Steven, is the continuation of that

Why don't you trap the corn in a mirror for thousands of years and see how it feels about the table.

Carl's pretty apolitical on that show. He'd adamantly claim to support feminism if he thinks it might let him see a girl around bedtime. Don't complicate Carl.

One episode, Onion will get hurt and I will cry.

Never a big fan.

I just really liked that Steven said that mystery girl looked like his mom. He was right, someone needed to say it.

How did Onion grabbing a mask mean that the advice didn't work for him? He's much more likely to avoid jail now!

Well they don't make murals unless a diamond tells them to, so what were you expecting? A work of meep Morp?

Probably. Steven does have mind control powers that he can't control yet.

Random Steven universe thoughts at the end of the nuke:

Honestly, the moral and everything was nice, but I would have been fine just watching even more road runner/coyote with peridot as wile e. Coyote.

So Blue Diamond was there when Sapphire and Ruby arrived. And Garnet was probably there when Rose shattered pink diamond. Garnet was also probably the third crystal gem because she was only found with pearl and rose… But they could have already had other members of the crystal gems by then.

Onion has three Breaking Points.

If I want to end it with a fairly idealized Rose, then I could see Pink Diamond getting corrupted as part of the other Diamonds' evil corrupt-a-gem attack (friendly fire or collateral damage), and Rose attempts to heal corruption, breaks down when she realizes she can't, and shatters Pink Diamond at Pinky's own

I don't know how maternal Garnet was being to that Ruby. Half of Garnet really thinks Rubies are just the cutest thing ever. But not in a maternal way.

Amon was a bender. And knew he was crippling other benders when he took their bending.

I view taking away the bending permanently was crippling to someone who naturally always had bending.

As long as former villains don't wind up replacing all the current core characters like in Goku's case…. and eventually even start replacing the former villains that replaced core characters….

I don't know if that was necessary there.

Yeah. Realized it a second later. Edited. Whoops.
