I think if you totaled every pickup that rolls coal, it still is pretty small. I mean, compared to all the vehicles on the road. Sure would be annoying if they did that to you, though.

Uh...it never left. F-150 has the shifter on the column or on the console. But Super Duty has *always* been a column shift unless back in the old days when they offered standard shift.
Possibly up to 12. One bottle holder in each door, 4 cupholders in front console as seen here, 2 in rear seat fold down armrest, 2 located at rear of center console above A/C vents.
What else would you put there? You forget these are working trucks. My landscaping guys drive these, and they put their water bottles in the cupholders. Great use of space. The actual covered console is massive and has room for everything else.
Super Duty trucks have never had an auto shifter on the floor. I suppose only fat folks buy HD trucks? Ever realize that cupholders can hold bottled water, too?
Right...because they really don’t work well. Gimmick.
Yeah, but the “triples” like GM also uses are a bit small for some of the bigger cups.
Flanking either side of the cup holders but mounted lower are two long and 7" deep storage bins. Work great for keeping phone, keys, wallet, etc. On top of the dash is a deep and padded compartment. Phone could stand up to see it if needed. Ahead of the cup holders is a covered bin with 2x illuminated USB ports…
VW has had the glovebox vent for a long time now...can be turned on or off.
You can get the split bench all the way up through Lariat Trim, which gives you leather seats. But not on King Ranch or Platinum.
Mercedes E-Class, W210. Had one on my 2002. Arms still feel flimsy.
I’d be mad if someone did that to my girlfriend, too. I will admit I found it completely humorous while stuck in Boston traffic some time back a few months ago when a couple of wayward lads in a bright yellow F-350 6.0 Powerstroke that was lifted managed to creep forward in traffic enough to line their tailpipe up…
You’re right, except in all reality, the total number of coal-rollers is pretty small.
Really? Who cares. The total number of these vehicles are negligible compared to the entire US fleet, and probably one launch of “Mr Electric’s” Space-X rocket exceeds the annual emissions of every truck the D Brothers have ever modified. We have such a double standard in this country.
I dislike this thing. The grille is so ugly, the tires really aren’t that big, and it is very, very far away from ever competing with the 2017 Raptor in terms of looks, capability, and performance. The air suspension? Big deal. Back in 2005, a $45k Land Rover LR3 could do the same trick of lowering the air suspension…
Totally disagree. Drove a 1996 Limited for many, many years. It was probably the most trouble free vehicle I’ve ever owned. Drove it until 2011. Had a gazillion miles on it and ran fine, transmission shifted fine, etc. Still had the original exhaust system. Brakes lasted very well. It ate front tires but that was…
Congratulations, Nissan...with your extra mighty Cummins XD model, you can now tow the same as a Ford F-150 with a 3.5L turbo V6. Whoop-de-do. Except the Nissan costs a lot more, is a lot slower, and really doesn’t get better fuel economy. These are a better truck than the first Titan, but should sell equally poorly.…
Since I have one of these on order already (F-350 dually), I’m curious as to how the brakes seem. They are adequate on the current generation, but the “feel” is pretty mushy. The F-150 has a much more firm pedal. Maybe the new truck will as well?
Totally disagree. A “work truck” is a pickup built just for work. It probably has vinyl seats and crank windows and an AM/FM stereo. It is probably a regular cab long bed, and may or may not have 4x4. Where I come from, you might drive around in one of these all day. Then at 5 o’clock, you jump into your Denali or…
Interesting they test the Ranger, but not the Colorado or other mid-size trucks, aside from the somewhat similar Tacoma / Hilux. Regarding this popular terrorist truck...if you can’t beat them, join them!
