I always thought that the DOT outlawed them in the late 90's.

#1 Why follow the modern trend of mean-looking headlights? The Miata has always been so happy!
HAH! That gave me a chuckle. That's just because it's a BMW. They are undeniably cool, no matter what people do to them. Especially E30's. I crave a 325ix because of the mini fender flares that are added on from the regular E30. I do need a winter car...
It's nice to hear that it's the same case in California too. I've even been pulled over (for no good reason, DMV thought my insurance expired when it hadn't) and the cop said nothing about my lack of a front plate. I even had the "I was just about to put it on" speech ready..
My problem is this: I have been in peoples' blind spots and their blind spot monitor didn't detect me. They then decided to merge without looking, depending on their monitors instead of their eyes. My life flashes befoe my eyes, I slam on the brakes, and much swearing ensues. I think blind spot monitors should have a…
I was going to say, "that makes you a subaru driver."
My recommendation: just break one law at a time. In the northeast 9/10 cops won't ticket you for lacking a front plate unless you're committing another violation as well. I've been driving without a front plate for two years now. The only "no front plate" ticket I've gotten was in Queens, and it was on top of another…
I have a 96 too! Cool beans.
No problem! Glad you didn't take my correction the wrong way. I've been fascinated with RWB since I first found out about them only a year or two ago. Chopping up Porsches like that will get most peoples' attention, though... I've read a bunch of interviews and features on RWB, and Nakai-San is a cool and very…
Sorry, you're wrong. It depends what the customer wants, but RWB has built many track cars, and Nakai actually just finished building himself a track car:
And they are making it sound like listening to Crue is a good thing...
Me too! Several times. Ain't so bad. I've broken my eye socket, now that hurts. Pepper spray is also a far worse pain, at least in my book. Every awful second lasts forever.
It doesn't hurt THAT bad.
Ridiculous even for the most ridiculous of car makers:
This was thoroughly enjoyable!
His name is Henry... Author needs a bit of proofreading (wasn't the other guy Harry? Understandable mistake). Or you just caught a little jab at Henry because the author now has a grudge against the guy for getting to drive such a bad ass car. Which I can't blame him for.
Sounds like FUN. Feels better to drive after a good whooping? I think they call that The Italian Tune
Nope, not end of story. Neither you or I are correct. See Sneeje's post, it's not that simple:
It's an interesting issue because there's probably a conflict of laws here. It's like recording the cleaning lady to make sure she's not stealing anything, and then you catch her stealing your jewelry. Can you use that in court if there's a law against recording people without their consent?
