you know...I’ll actually suggest a Jag...the F Pace is a good looking vehicle and not that common (from what I remember of LA). Has all the features you want I think, and reliability isn’t THAT bad.

Obligatory mention of the CTS V-Wagon. The ultimate jalop machine, RWD V8 Manual Wagon.

Easy one here. Sporty car under 50k for family duty? Stinger. It’s not that common and if bought in the right color can have a striking presence.

It’s not that unusual, but is plenty functional and perfect for nice days.

I would say JK Wrangler Unlimited...but at 15k you’re probably not gonna get a whole lot, you could, though, get it’s once rival.

that’s a beautiful description

Well the Wrangler and Ram had some pretty significant upgrades, even if the style of the wrangler is relatively unchanged.

the most surprising part of this article is....

I give FCA a lot of credit.

I’m actually not sure, I think they’re about middle of the pack or so?

No more German? okay, how about Swedish? You can get a lightly used Volvo V60 for under 20k, it’s not an SUV, it’s a wagon with tons of interior space for all your equipment. It’s not a manual, but it is a wagon, so jalop points there.

Neutral: I’m not exactly a “dealer experience” kind of customer.

David Tracy should trade his entire Jeep fleet...plus about 5k...for that truck.

I finally found a good answer! You wanna stand out? how about a DeTomaso Pantera! You can easily find one under 130, look great, with a lovely V8 and awesome shifter.

I was about to suggest something but....patrick wins.

now Europe can also get in line and wait a few years for their new model 3!

funny since I’ve been in a lot of pickup trucks with nowhere other than the center console (still open)

yea I mean it’s not gonna make or break my decisions at all. I make due with or without room for it, just kind of nice when it’s available, but very far down on my list.

I’ve started to look for it recently, it’s not critical, but is nice for a vehicle to be able to store my 32 oz water bottle securely, and not sitting on the passenger seat/in the console.
