Supposedly they "technically can" but none of their games are in 1080p. The main point is that before the WiiU, they didnt even support 720p. They're way behind the game. Xbox one can support 4K. Now THAT's next gen.

This wasn't realtime gameplay. It was a pre-rendered trailer just like the one from Final Fantasy XV, the Order, and Mad Max — all pre-rendered trailers or cinematics. Infact, just about everything Sony showed at E3 were pre-rendered.

The reason for connection every 24 hrs is because Xbox One games will be designed to have players as up to date as possible with zero amount of updating time. But your machine is always connected isnt it? So what is the problem with Xbox One being connected always? As for MMO's yeah, it's an ONLINE game, so you have to be connected. Only difference is that while my Xbox One can run and download its updates while I sleep, You have to wait for your games to update each time…
