Ugh this rear. I was hoping for a neat modern take on tailfins, but this just looks weird.

Could you imagine in an alternate universe where Ford still produces the Crown Victoria in 2020? What would that even look like?
I greatly miss the chrome one.
Hope they coded that copter’s autonomy to be bullet proof. Can they even push over-the-air software updates to it once it’s landed? Any communication to my knowledge takes ~20 mins.
I’ll never forget in the early 2010's, when automakers were starting to put DRL LED’s on, not only luxury, but economy cars. I remember the Jalopnik comments back then were “gah blasphemy! why are all cars with normal headlights suddenly getting this lipstick!” It was weird how quickly those comments died out, and now…
Not a fan of the high pitched noise - it’s a no from me. I hope this noise doesn’t become the fart-can bro thing once we have bro-electric hot hatches in 2035.
Considering I have a spray paint of the Miura on my wall, I really wish that had been more than just a concept.
They’ll read this comment too, in the internet archive and be like “⏃ ⎎⟒⋏☊⟒ ☊⎍⏁⌇ ⏁⊑⍀⍜⎍☌⊑ ⏁⊑⟒ ☊⍜⍀⋏⟒⍀ ⌰⍜⏁. ⏁⊑⟒ ⌿⌰⎍⌇⊑ ☊⊑⏃⟟⍀ ⌰⟒⏃⋏⟒⎅ ⏃☌⏃⟟⋏⌇⏁ ⏁⊑⟒ ⍙⏃⌰⌰” (“Wow our ancestors hadn’t even stepped on another planet yet!”)
I’m really surprised noone has made a modern-day conversion kit for a modern car. I guess the only one I can think of that’s even close is the Challenger daytona mod, but.. yeeuuuckk
+1 for Galaxy Notes reference :)
This thing looks amazing. I was like TRUUUCK YEEA— then I saw this and my brain kicked in.. does the shifter retract into it’s lil cubby when in park?
Just get Dodge to bring back the Magnum, it did this better (for wagons)
Man.. I remember seeing Eclipses everywhere
“It’s kind of like if you had a jet aircraft with a fake propeller and fake piston-engine controls and displays inside”
Well said 😂
Not worth it, I feel like if anything, they should deck the 3.0 down to $43k and the lesser one to $33k. It’s still above the 86 but the dealer can chalk that up to model “prestige” lol
Can we get Isuzu back? I miss my 1999 Trooper. The fact that this has D-max underpinnings makes me yearn for it all the more.
Automatic is great, have driven that. Learned stick when I bought mine, that was interesting (but I didn’t kill it!). Can confirm that both have good, but unique-to-their-own, experiences.
Can we please have classic styling back on mainstream cars?
I have a 2017 GT manual. All the gears have been shifting smooth and fine, except 2nd, which has always required a little more force to pull into - nothing drastic though. Haven’t had any issues, yet!
You could be hearing from Mr. Regular and Doug Demuro soon!
