It makes me wonder. Where is car design heading?

Can confirm that the aftermarket Steeda clutch spring is amazing, way better than Ford’s vague spring. I honestly prefer the notchy feel (shifting an older Corolla (I know not a great comparison) felt as reassuring as shifting through spaghetti).
However, one weird thing I had to install was a clutch pedal extension,

My last car was a bare bones 2013 Challenger, automatic. It was my first sports car, and I’ll never forget the constant grin on my face during my first drive home with it. It was the car I had been closely following since its release, and in general it had gotten me into cars. I ended up having quite a few great

You’ve won exactly one, entire internet.  Take your star.

Couldn’t agree more. Something tells me they said, “Eh, no one will notice”

Agreed! I don’t understand how anyone in Hyundai was cool with this. Was their entire PR/design team holding their hands up to their ears?

I hate to be particular, and I know they’re probably necessary for charging and things, but the little gaps on these panels messes with me.

I did it mopping up my floor this morning with a paper towel. A few days ago I was taking apart a harddrive, and I took a screwdriver to pry the disc out (bad, bad, bad idea). It did not pry out, but shattered into little bits of dust, sand, and shards everywhere. I cleaned it all up, so I thought.

Haha, been doing that, just a bit hard to tell without some direction what is best and what’s not. Nonetheless its good to hear other peoples’ (a few Mustang owners too) opinions.

Haha well, for the record my Dad drove it off the lot, and I followed him home in his car.

I should have specified that - in my case I have 3.73 gearing, so you pretty much don’t need 1st gear (/s)

I recently learned manual (bought the Mustang without knowing how, probably a risky decision).
One thing I still wonder about is engine lugging. I tend to keep the RPMs at a minimum at ~1500.  However, I’ve been told by fellow Mustang owners that they can roll their 5.0's at 1000 all day with no issue.  Why does it

Thank you for dropping that term - it’s because of that, that multitasking for humans is impossible.

Don’t worry, you’ve already gotten the club, the spy base, a mansion. None of those could possibly fit the jet bike. But! All you need are more Shark cards to buy a truck for it!

I think I threw up in my mouth a little.

Didn’t you guys once post an RC car convo of Jeeps and other offroaders going through snow and forest, at what creepily looked human-scale? I could have sworn I saw that here years ago but I’ve never been able to find the video..

I’m wondering how he ended up modifying it to steer. Was it an easy process (add a steering arm do-hicky and done), or did he have to compromise any of the original design (maybe cut/modify some tight wheel wells) to make the wheels able to turn? There’s nothing left to that street at the end, so he has to turn.

Was thinking the same thing, park under/behind the wing and put your hazards on.
