I don’t mean to say that they do/did. I was a huge fan.
What I mean is - I’m sure there were a few designers back then who found his notions polarizing. Just thought it was a good allusion to think about.

That quote makes me honestly think of what Harley Earl must have gone through in the 50's. He defied the ‘norm’, but ended up getting through any resistance and the dimensions of literally all cars were affected.

Sorry that this is really irrelevant but I wasn’t sure where to ask this: what happened to Jason Drives? :/

That’s a great improvement, I was thinking a lower beltline increase towards the rear, but crash/safety regs might be causing that.

I’m so tired of seeing this thing and its awkward out-of-place notches. If the beltline didn’t look so chugged up, it might have a sportish look to it.

The 1951 Bugatti Type 101 Ghia Roadster has always perplexed me in the looks department. Styling-wise, the front “boxed” corners almost give it a resemblance of the 70's.
