I always hear about the quality of American cars being absolute crap in the late 70's/early 80's. What I have to wonder is, before 1973, when that “optimism” was alive for brawny cars, even back in 1959 with Cadillac’s standard-of-the-world luxury - were those cars equally as crappy? Were people just jaded/oblivious…

It looks pretty good, but that little |X| thing they have going on with the taillights, like the Renegade has, looks incredibly tacky. I’d gladly stick with the current trailer park ones they have.

I’m a huge fan of my RWD baby. It’s a boat in turns, so tight turning pretty much involves slowing it down and pointing the nose where you want it to go.. but the fact that it’s RWD makes that a pretty painless effort when you mentally think about pivoting on the rear wheels.
