during December, proudly called out to me “Merry Christmas!” even though he knows I’m Jewish. He never did that before, so I have to think it was the whole Trump and “we can say Merry Christmas now!” thing. Asshole.

I live in deep-blue downtown Phoenix, but of course the suburbs and rural surroundings are quite red.

Ooohh yeah. I live in MA, and in a super liberal area of MA at that. And yet on my way into work there is a house with a Trump SHRINE in their front yard. A weird one, too. Hand-painted Trump signs, an American flag overhead - knotted to tree branches, and a Benghazi sticker. I’ve been behind their car before, too.

Do paroxysms of rage count as cardio? If so, read on:

Same here. It startled me! I can’t look at those neighbors in the same way anymore. Especially the one with the Trump/Pence sign who, during December, proudly called out to me “Merry Christmas!” even though he knows I’m Jewish. He never did that before, so I have to think it was the whole Trump and “we can say Merry

I also live in a liberal enclave, and I remember when my wife and I moved into our current place. A neighbor dropped by and, nodded to my wife and said is that your maid? She didn’t even give me a chance to say let me introduce you to my wife.

“Did he think trump’s going to pay his bail or put in a good word for him? Why would anyone be so gleeful to be such a piece of shit?”

I saw one red hat the day after the election on some old white dude shuffling along and looking anxious. I don’t think he had the experience he had expected when he left the house in that hat!

The better question is, “Is there any area of Boston that is NOT gentrified?”

It may cause me to go into paroxysms of rage when I hear someone say IIIIraq and IIIIran with an extra nasally “I”

We will all be living in a communal shack in 2 years.

I lived in Boston back in the day. I can validate your statement that it is, in fact, full of douchebags.

I live in Minneapolis, which may be one of the bluest cities on earth. When I went to vote, some hate-filled old codger had crawled out from whichever rock he’d been living under, and was loudly proclaiming that he was voting for Trump to anybody that would listen. I could tell that he was really hoping for some

This is one case where I can support a felon’s voting rights being taken away.

I’ve never been to Boston, but ya’ll have a “scrappy-Irish-racist” area? Southie or something? Marky-Mark town. Or did that gentrify?

You really get spoiled living in and around Boston ‘cause I’ve never seen a MAGA hat or t-shirt or even any Trump signs around where I live. But if I did see one, I would certainly give them a stern, disapproving yet mournful look, followed by an even sadder head-shake. Maybe even a resigned “sigh”.

Oh, he thinks he’s happy to go to jail. I’d just love to see the look on his face if, by some miracle, he got the four year sentence and realized what four years in a box really is.

I know, I’ve gotten so attached to Our James that sometimes I forget Masshole is just a regular bit of slang. xD

Lol, Masshole James might be introuble for telling off someone in a MAGA hat, but I don’t think we need to worry about him assaulting strange women.

Read the headline so quickly, for a second I thought you were talking about the Jez commenter. I was devastated.
