“And when you come home from your battles, scarred and shattered, we will have decimated the VA so it will be similarly scarred and shattered, a perfect metaphor for exactly how much we love our veterans. Look, a flyover from the Blue Angels!”

My first thought, which utterly chilled me, was that he was talking about deploying troops here, possibly after refusing to accept election results or to promote his vicious “Kingdom of Heaven” here. No real reason, but that’s the first thing that leaped into my head when I read that.
“...Mr. Trump is the best friend the men and women of our armed forces will ever have.”
I hadn’t really thought about it, but you’re right. Lame duck Trump could be pretty scary.
Oh, we are still going to keep those. The private prison industry is too profitable for America to give those up.
If Twitter had been around in 1944 and Churchill had tweeted about making sure the beaches of Normandy were clear, do you think Rommel would not have taken it as a sign of invasion?
Facebook helped!
I knew twitter would kill us all.
What kind of fucking idiot tweets his next mov... oh right.
Too bad Trump can’t.
It’s ok to admit that you don’t understand how the economy works.
However, with the US tarrifs in place retaliatory tarrifs of other countries will cause a stiff decrease in the export of US built vehicles. The US certainly loses there. Especially as America’s unilateralism and unreliability is bring other countries together.
Can some of y’all stop acting like the Catholic church is the only one with sexual abuse problems, and that pastors in other denominations don’t just go and find another job somewhere else or create a new church? The reason why we don’t hear about them is precisely because they aren’t usually an organized bureaucracy.…
Yeah, I feel like if you sign up for Trump’s team, you’ve pretty much defined your moral baseline as “nonexistent”.
“She’s tired of taking on water for something she doesn’t believe in,” a friend of Sanders told me. “She continues to have a frustration that the policies are all over the map,” another person close to her said. “It’s not a good look for Sarah.”
If I were a Huckabee, I’d be dreaming of being separated from that family.
I’m having a bit of trouble believing Sarah isn’t down with family separation. I think someone just realized the ship is sinking and is trying to boost their public profile for the inevitable soft landing as a Fox News contributor.
“It’s not a good look for Sarah.”
Thoughts and prayers, Sarah; thoughts and prayers.
